EVELYN

Evelyn is originally from Agua Prieta, Sonora, Mexico. She is in her third year at New Mexico Central College and is working on getting her Associates Degree in Bookkeeping.

“I feel like they (The President and law-makers) are not giving us a fair shot. Just because a lot of us did come here so young, it was unwillingly, it’s not like we just made a decision to come here. And I think they should have some options for us, even for those that don’t have DACA, because you know, not everyone can get DACA. I feel like there should be at least more options, or I don’t know, something to help.”
